Amy Carpenter started with the CASA Program in 2007 after serving eight years at the Department of Human Services. She began her employment with the Child Advocacy Board as a part time Local Coordinator, overseeing four rural counties. After several years and program area expansions, Amy accepted the position of Lead Coordinator in 2014. She was then hired as the Deputy Administrator for the Iowa CASA Program in October 2015. She has a degree in Educational Services in Family and Consumer Sciences from Iowa State University. Amy has incredible respect for the work of our agency Advocates and Board Members. Her passion for improving the lives of abused and neglected children has always been a center point in her career and life. Outside of work Amy enjoys attending her son's events, reading, gardening and cheering on the Iowa State Cyclones.
