A number of years ago, a group of Iowa citizens concerned about the welfare of children formed a non-profit, 501(C) 3 organization that provides support to the volunteers serving as Court Appointed Special Advocates. More recently, this organization's Board of Directors expanded their mission to also provide assistance to the state's local Foster Care Review Boards.
The Friends of Iowa Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) and Foster Care Review Board (FCRB) is a non-profit organization that helps support the Iowa CASA and FCRB programs through public awareness, volunteer training, recruitment, and public policy education, on behalf of children in need of assistance due to abuse and neglect who are involved in juvenile court proceedings.
Become a Friends of CASA and FCRB Board Member. The Friends Board periodically seeks new members. If you are interested in applying to become a member of this board, please send your inquiry or information about yourself to the contact below. People wanting to help raise funds, promote the CASA and FCRB programs and advocate for kids make great Friends Board members!
Donate to Friends of CASA and FCRB. Tax deductible contributions can be made to Friends. All contributions are used by Friends to carry out their mission statement across the state or in whichever Iowa communities the contributor designates. This is a much appreciated way of showing your support for abused and neglected children and for concerned adults who are volunteering their time to be a voice for these children's best interests.
