Thousands of children in Iowa are currently under the juvenile court's jurisdiction due to abuse and neglect. The programs and activities of ICAB are dedicated to advocating for these children's best interests. We rely on citizen volunteers from across the state to complete our mission. These positions include:

  • CASA Advocates represent the eyes and ears of Iowa's judges in order to deliver objective reports on the child's welfare to the court.
  • FCRB Members review the practices of the state to ensure our child welfare infrastructure is working efficiently.
  • Non-Advocate Volunteers assist in the day-to-day business of running a non-profit. There are a variety of opportunities available, including, but not limited to, canvassing, data entry, and filing paperwork.

We all work together to ensure Iowa's children-in-need are finding the permanency they so desperately need. Sign up to volunteer today!
